For over 7 years, Descarga has been the staple LA club that features classic Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Afro-Brazilian rhythms and Global grooves. (One of the original founders DJ Dusk would be proud to know we are still holding it down strong here in Los Angeles even upon changing times.)

Walk Talkin aims to be the bridge between cultures so we extend this invite to you to try a night of Latin and Global grooves with us as we launch a new family of Djs CID HERNANDEZ, BRAZILIA and BILLY GOODS with a live performance from acclaimed singer TITA LIMA from Sau Paulo, Brazil.

(SAU PAULO, BRAZIL)

Brasileira, paulistana, singer, composer brings us her mixture of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) Samba-Jazz, Bossa Nova, Hip-Hop and Dub. Born into a family of musicians, music came to Tita Lima naturally. She learned to play the piano with her grandmother and later the bass with her father, the bass player for the 70s rock band"Os Mutantes" and has paid her dues in Sao Paulo's musical scene playing bass, singing and sharing the stage with widely-recognized artists such as Bocato (Metalurgia, Elis Regina, Gal Costa, Maria Rita), Joao Donato, Luz de Caroline, Locosapiens, Luizao Tiu e Juneca, Nucleoand Dori Caymmi, among many others. 
Tita's music has become a favorite among DJs in Brazil, the United States and Europe, including Rafael Moraes, Garth Trinidad andGilles Peterson, who included the song "A Conta Do Samba" in his compilation"Brownswood Bubblers" on the Brownswood Recordings label.
